what's a league?

A round robin golf league has players split into foursomes each week and play each other in rotation to ensure fairness and transparency. It provides every player with the chance to compete against everyone else, bringing out the best in each player. The winner is determined by the player with lowest score at the end.

Frequently asked questions

  • Shotgun Golf will book out Bay 1 and 2 during the scheduled times, and qualifying players will be able to access the facility via the email link as usual. 
  • Feel free to schedule times in advance of the league to get some swing practice in, as there will not be time for warm ups
  • The scheduled time slots are optional and for social gathering and playing amongst other golfers in person. You do not have to play in these scheduled times to participate – you may choose to separate book your session to participate separately . Alternate bookings will be additional and not included in the price of league admission. 
  • Participants will use the Trackman Tournaments function, and are able to start and pause their game at any point. 
  • The Shotgun Winter League will run for 8 weeks. All players will be scheduled to play once a week, at different times either Monday or Tuesday 7pm or 9pm.
  • Substitutions are allowed. Unfortunately, refunds will not be allowed once the league schedule is published. 
  • If a substitution cannot be found, the round will be counted as a forfeit and round’s lowest score will be applied to the missing player.

  • This year we will accomodate a maximum of 32 unique players. 
  • You can get a membership in our Store. 
  • Yes, we have a partnership with local restaurants that will provide catering and non-alcoholic drinks. 
  • Vegan and gluten free options will be available upon request. 
  • There is no separate women’s division, but ladies will start from the closer tee. 
  • The schedule will be published along with which course will be played each week. Feel free to practice in advance!
